Painted sliding doors, tatami mats, the warmth of timber. The whole of this traditional Japanese house is yours to rent, in all its quiet character. Spend time that belongs to you alone, with family or close friends. This stay is loved deeply by guests from overseas as well.
Nights around the irori
In the cold months (October to April), a fire is lit in the irori, the traditional sunken hearth at the heart of the house. The owner joins you, and around the flames you listen to stories of the land, a quiet and special time. What you find here is not sightseeing, but the experience of staying within Japanese daily life itself.
